PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Effective October 26, 2026. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you send us a care request, we collect what you choose to share: your name, phone number, email address, your client's name, the service address, the services you are interested in, and any details you tell us about the care needed.

When you apply through our Careers page, we collect your name, phone number, email address, a summary of your experience, and any message you send us.

If you call or email us, we keep a note of that conversation so whoever follows up with you already has the context.

How we use your information

We use your information to answer your questions, arrange and schedule care, follow up about a care arrangement, and — for applications — to review your interest and reach out about an open need.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your information is used to run our services, not to advertise someone else's.

Who can see your information

Only the owners and staff members who need it to do their work. Notes our owners leave on a care request are internal records that keep your family's information straight between us; they are never published or shared publicly.

We may share information with a caregiver we are matching with your family, and only the details needed to provide the care you asked for.

How we protect and store your information

Your information is stored in secure systems with access limited to people who need it, and kept only as long as we need it to provide care, answer your questions, or meet our record-keeping obligations.

No method of storage is completely secure. If you ever believe information about your family has reached someone who should not have it, tell us right away and we will act on it.

Sign-in records

This website stores a small sign-in record in your browser so the staff and owner areas can recognize you while you use them. We do not run advertising trackers on this website.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call 833-574-8837 or email sitters@genuineloveandcare.com and we will handle your request. If we must keep a record for a legal or business reason, we will tell you what we are keeping and why.

Children

Our services are for adults and older adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update this page and the effective date above. Using the website after a change means the updated policy applies.
